Course Overview
This course is specifically designed for existing First Aiders and Emergency First Aiders who wish to maintain their proficiency and stay current with the latest first aid protocols. While not a mandatory requirement, following the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) recommendation for annual training ensures that your life-saving skills remain sharp and effective in real-world scenarios.
The curriculum focuses on reinforcing core competencies, ranging from initial assessments to specific injury management. Through practical review, participants will regain confidence in performing primary and secondary surveys, managing wounds, and executing resuscitation techniques.
Assessment
There is no formal examination for this course. Instead, instructors provide continuous monitoring and assessment of each participant’s performance throughout the training session to ensure competency and skill retention.
