Course Overview

This one-day training course provides learners with the essential knowledge and practical competence required to recognize and treat adults, children, and infants who have become unresponsive, suffered cardiac arrest, or are experiencing a life-threatening allergic reaction (Anaphylaxis). Participants will develop the necessary skills to respond quickly, calmly, and confidently to provide life-saving treatment.

The course is highly suitable for individuals who hold responsibilities within a workplace or are involved in voluntary and community activities. However, the training imparts valuable skills that are beneficial to everyone in all aspects of their daily life.

Qualification Structure

The qualification consists of one unit which learners must successfully complete to achieve the award.

Assessment

Assessment is conducted through practical demonstration and oral questioning. Real-life scenarios will be implemented to test the learner’s ability to apply their skills and knowledge effectively under pressure.
